While upholstered furniture is usually not a fragile item, it is one of the most-often damaged items during a move. Unless it is fully-wrapped, it is easily damaged by transfer of dirt and grease during the moving process. That is why diggins & ROSE completely encases all upholstered furniture in a special shrink wrapping material that is specifically made for this purpose. Additionally, once the furniture is moved to the truck, upholstered furniture is often further wrapped in thick, quilted furniture pads to provide protection from abrasion and additional cushioning.
- The shrink wrap is anchored to the upholstered piece and the wrapping process is started.
- All surfaces of the upholstered piece are covered in overlapping passes.
- Wrapping of this chair is almost complete.
- The chair is on its way to the truck for additional protection with furniture pads.
