This long-term client requested relocation of multiple new and existing Jacquard Looms into a new location.
Problem: Moving Jacquard looms ordinarily requires removing the Jacquard head from the mezzanine and harness, requiring many hours per loom to rethread the harness.
Solution: By using creative rigging techniques to move Jacquard head, mezzanine and harness intact, diggins & ROSE significantly reduced downtime.
1. The threaded Jacquard harness and mezzanine. (The head is above the mezzanine.)
2. Prepping the mezzanine for a safe transfer across hundreds of feet of factory floor.
3. Using neoprene skates to move the units minimizes potential damage to the floor.
4. A hydraulic forklift is used to assist in transferring the intact unit across the floor at controlled speed.
